Program Eligibility

To determine eligibility for the SRJC CalWORKs program, you need to be referred to us by SonomaWORKs. After referral, you

will be connected with a CalWORKs advisor that will go over all the information you need. Once you become a student and full participant of CalWORKs, supplies, books, parking, health and other SRJC fees are paid in full (tuition not included).

Once the referral paperwork is received, a CalWORKs, staff member will contact you to complete further steps.

Programs next steps

CalWORKs students are responsible for:

  1. Attending CalWORKs orientation

  2. Meeting with CalWORKs counselor and CalWORKs advisor every semester unless there has been a break in school attendance (a gap)

  3. (Optional) Meet with Leticia if interested in the CalWORKs job program
